SCR Rounders: Team Bobbie vs Team Tammy
There is nothing quite like stepping away from the desk and getting together for a bit of friendly competition, and that’s exactly what happened at our recent SCR rounders game.
On a lovely afternoon during the UK heatwave, we took full advantage of the glorious weather as the office swapped meetings and profiles for bats, balls, and plenty of enthusiasm. The match brought everyone together from every desk, uniting the team as we all fought to claim the top spot.
With Bobbie and Tammy stepping up as our team captains, the game was afoot. From the first ball bowled to the final rounder scored, there was an infinite amount of fun, enjoyment, and healthy competition. Regardless of whether we missed every shot or managed to hit the ball clean out of the park, everyone embraced the spirit of the game and gave it their absolute best effort.
With Tammy and Bobbie going head-to-head, the fiercely contested match ultimately resulted in a nail-biting 25-25 draw, meaning everyone walked away a winner! Whether it was cheering teammates on from the sidelines, celebrating a brilliant catch, or simply sharing a laugh after a missed swing, the afternoon perfectly showcased the strong, supportive team culture we have developed here at SCR.

We are already looking forward to the next team event, and seeing if a clear winner will finally emerge victorious next time!
